The Agenda 2030 promotes a unique, universal framework that includes the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), a review system, and a framework for partnerships. The SDGs will serve as a thematic reference frame. Researchers from Swiss institutions and their international partners will showcase innovative ideas and reflection on:

  • Contribution of research to the achievement and implementation of the Agenda 2030;
  • Adequate multi-stakeholder partnerships;
  • Holistic approaches on how to deal with possible trade-offs;
  • Approaches and ideas for monitoring and reporting on progress and gaps;

Ongoing research projects as well as new project ideas will be showcased at exhibition stands, with experts available for further explanation and in-depth discussion.
