How Can a Reflection on Roles of Scientists in Sustainability Transformations Be Supported?
Time
Organizers: Anne Zimmermann & Jeannette Behringer Swiss Commission for Research Partnerships with Developing Countries (KFPE) / Swiss Academic Society for Environmental Research and Ecology (saguf) / Swiss Academy of Sciences Switzerland (SCNAT)

Scientists assume different roles when conducting research in sustainability transformations, not least of all when they use a transdisciplinary approach. As part of an SCNAT project, a team of scientists developed a guide for reflecting on roles of scientists in research projects that aim to contribute to sustainability transformations. During the workshop the new guide will be presented and used to trigger reflection on different roles of participating scientists in their current research projects.
