Decolonizing Swiss Research Partnerships

In order to continue strengthening North-South research collaboration, persistent challenges related to (de)colonisation for North-South research collaboration need to be identified. With this project in the year 2023, the KFPE aims at analyzing the current state of North-South research collaboration from a decolonizing perspective, defining characteristics of a decolonized North-South research collaboration and reflect on the 11 principles and 7 questions.

In the year 2022 Dr Ravaka Andriamihaja conducted several workshops and interviews. As part of the KFPE annual conference, a first workshop took place on 10 June 2022 with 42 participants. At the Swiss Researching Africa Days at the end of October 2022, we led a panel on this topic.
