Global South Paradigms: (Re)Shaping Our Future
Taking place mornings and evenings August 25-27, 2024, the conference focus on critical dialogue and collaborative brainstorming on the future of Global South research. The conference is free to attend and fully virtual. It is tailored especially to benefit young scholars pushing the frontier of Global South research.
The burgeoning and interconnected fields of Global South public policy, humanities, and other academic disciplines demand fresh perspectives from the very communities these disciplines seek to empower.
Hosted by South-North Scholars and the GSPPRN constituency of the International Public Policy Association, Global South Paradigms welcomes all graduate and undergraduate students pursuing research or practice on Global South contexts and Global South issues. We will engage in critical dialogue and collaborative brainstorming around the current and future directions of “Global South research” – i.e., research on Global South issues – both within and across disciplinary boundaries.
The conference will be held free of charge to participants and virtually via Zoom — register to attend and/or submit your paper for presentation BY AUGUST 3, 2024.
