The course is designed to empower practitioners with an understanding of the fundamentals of the WASH sector, both in the humanitarian and development contexts. It introduces students to the core principles for planning, designing and implementing activities to improve sustainable and equitable access to domestic water supply and sanitation services and to improve hygiene behaviours.
The course has two parts. There are three online distance learning theoretical modules between 15 February and 28 June 2024. And there is a practical module, consisting of planning, designing and implementing
activities, taking place in Mendrisio, Switzerland, from 27 September to 5 October 2024.
