The Cluster of Cooperation (CLOC) Knowledge to Action (K2A) in South Asia has experimented over 4 editions with a virtual format for sustainability education across geographical and professional boundaries. In this workshop we share our experience in designing and conducting the 3 week online academy that aims to contribute to a better understanding of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by applying design thinking and translating knowledge into action. We present the resources, competences required and the components of such a program that makes online learning fun, collaborative, inspiring, intercultural, innovative and grounded with opportunities of learning from the field and from each other.
